In-Field Pruning Demonstration

Join us at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort on February 19 from 1-3pm for an in-field vine pruning demonstrating. Whether you are new to wine grape cultivation or a seasoned grower, come learn the latest on vine pruning to grow the best grapes your vineyard can manage, manage canopy size in anticipation of climate and fungus issues, and help preserve an older vineyard. Bring your hat and your pruning questions, and we'll see you on February 19 at the Allegretto!

Speaker: Eddy Kronfli, PCA, IGGPRA Board Member, Owner/Operator Vine Shepherd Vineyard Management Company Owner and Viticulturist Edward (Eddy) Kronfli completed his Masters Degree in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis before setting out to work and study in vineyards across the world. Back home in California, he has worked in some of the finest vineyards in both Napa and Paso Robles where he collaborated with winemakers to develop and cultivate ultra-premium winegrapes sustainably and consistently. Detail oriented and data driven, Edward always emphasizes that he is a scientist first, farmer second and aims to take the guesswork out of viticulture. |
