Update on Pesticide Laws & Regulations Laura Ramage, M.S., Ag. Inspector/Biologist, SLO County Agricultural Commission
*1 hour of "Laws" DPR Continuing Education
- Laws & Regulations for safe and legal use of rodenticides
- New exam requirements for licensed handlers/applicators
Management of Ground Squirrels Utilizing Biology Dr. Roger Baldwin, Wildlife Specialist, UC Davis Cooperative Extension
*I hour of "Other" DPR Continuing Education
- How to develop a ground squirrel management plan using IPM
- Non-poison management techniques
- Use of biology, integrated pest management strategies, and pesticides
For growers looking to receive the full 2 hours of Continuing Education, you must be online the entire time and participate with the chat, camera, and quizzes.
* Keeping track of hours is the grower's responsibility
* All attendees, including PAs (Private Applicators), taking the seminar for CE credit will be required to enter their permit number on the examination
* Everyone earning credit will still receive a Verification of Attendance for their records
